Pilates is a full body physical fitness regime created by Joseph Pilates in America in the 1920’s. It is a safe and effective form of therapeutic exercise that focuses on strengthening the “core” muscles that support the back and neck.
Pilates has many health benefits including; improved core muscle strength, decreased back and neck pain, improved posture and spinal alignment, increased flexibility, better balance, coordination and prevention from further injury.
